A Timeless Take
Part of the revered status of the original G&L Basses had a lot to do with inconsistency. Back in the day, each bass rolled off the line a little differently, so some were "accidentally" built perfectly. This formed a challenging prospect for the modern day G&L engineers, looking to capture the mystery of the perfect precision bass. But they succeeded with the conception of the JB Bass! A unique instrument that truly delivers old school feel and tone.
Full-Bodied Bass Tone
The secret to the timeless 'JB' tone lies in the 'holy grail' Alnico single-coil pickups and solid alder body. The JB’s classic Alnico V pickups have tone reminiscent of the best examples from the early ‘60s, thanks to the work of Paul Gagon, G&L VP Engineering.
Finishing Touches
If super hot pickups and solid tonewoods wern't enough, the G&L JB Bass is rounded off with top hardware to keep it all in place. PLEK dressed frets, Ultra Lite Tuners and Chrome Hardware seal the deal. Super fun to play whilst retaining the essence of an old school G&L.

If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
