The Fulltone OCD V2 Overdrive is a pedal that builds upon the success of its predecessor, the OCD V1, by introducing a new buffered output that enhances dynamic range and responsiveness. Acknowledged for its open and dynamic overdrive sound, the V2 takes it a step further with a new 'Class A' buffer, providing a fuller tone and a rich array of overtones reminiscent of vintage preamps.

- Dynamic Overdrive Tones: Maintaining the legacy of the original OCD, the V2 delivers clear and amp-like responses with dynamic overdriven tones. Responds exceptionally well to player dynamics and guitar volume adjustments, allowing for nuanced and expressive playing.
- 'Class A' Buffer: The introduction of a new 'Class A' buffer enhances harmonic traits, mimicking the harmonic polish achieved by vintage preamps. Ensures a full and complex tone, capturing the sound of a cranked tube amplifier regardless of the amp's volume setting.
- HP/LP Switch: The HP/LP (High Peak/Low Peak) switch offers versatility, allowing you to toggle between a 'British' feel with increased mid-range and break-up (HP) or a cleaner signal ideal for use as a clean booster (LP).
- Tone Sculpting: Tone, volume, and drive controls provide comprehensive sound-shaping capabilities, enabling you to tailor your overdrive to your preferences.
- Enhanced Bypass: The switchable buffer offers the choice between true bypass operation and the 'enhanced bypass' feature. 'Enhanced Bypass' provides a fuller tone with added harmonic character, remaining faithful to the natural tone of your guitar.
- Versatile Applications: Functions well as both a heavy overdrive and a clean booster, making it suitable for various playing styles and setups. Large output volume allows it to drive Master-Volume amps harder than many overdrive pedals.
- Unique Circuit Design: The pedal achieves its tube-like distortion through a distinctive combination of JFET op-amp overdrive and subsequent hard-clipping with MOSTFETs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of guitars and amps.
