Classic Telecaster Style
As is tradition, the body of the Telecaster Deluxe is made from Alder.
The iconic single cutaway to the body gives the Telecaster its distinctive look while providing easy access to the upper frets.
Attached to the body is a “Slim C”-shaped Maple neck providing that classic and comfortable grip for your fretting hand.
Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard featuring an old school 7.25” radius along with 21 vintage-style frets for that authentic 70s Fender playing experience.
Allowing for fantastic customisation, the neck plate features Micro-Tilt.
Originally introduced in the 1970s, this handy feature allows you to make precise adjustments to the neck angle so you can set the action to your own specifications.
Fantastic 70s Fender Sound
Fender have recreated the original 1970s Wide Range humbucking pickups to give you more accurate tone of that era.
These hubuckers give you big, bold and punchy tone – the kind that has provided the riffs and licks of many classic tunes throughout the last four decades.
Each of these Wide Range humbuckers has its own volume and tone controls so you can shape your tone to perfection.
There’s also a three-position blade so you can switch between using either pickup individually or both at once.
Vintage Style Hardware
Maintaining its commitment to accuracy, the Fender Vintera 70s Telecaster Deluxe has vintage-inspired hardware throughout – right down to the vintage-style strap buttons.
On the body, you’ll find a vintage-style hardtail Strat bridge with its string-through-body design providing increased sustain along with solid tuning stability. Also, with six individual saddles you’ll get precise intonation across the board.
Up on the Stratocaster style headstock, you’ll find six “F”-stamped tuning machines offering precise and secure tuning along with a healthy serving of old-school aesthetics.
