Classic Mustang Style
The Fender Vintera 60s Mustang is made from traditional Alder. The offset shape and cutaway design give you ergonomic performance and easy reach of the upper frets – great for guitar solos.
Adding to the great looks of the Fender Vintera 60s Mustang, the body holds a 4-ply aged white pearloid pickguard.
Attached to the body is a Maple neck with a ‘60s C-shape which is era-accurate and comfortable too!
What’s more, you can enjoy the same playing feel the legendary guitarists of the ‘60s had because of the vintage 7.25” radius fretboard and 22 vintage-style frets.
Newly Voiced 60s Mustang Pickups
In order to give you the most accurate sound of the 60s possible, Fender have recreated the original Fender Mustang pickups.
These newly voiced pickups give you that crisp and articulate tone that made the Fender Mustang so popular in the decade of its birth.
Another great feature that made the Fender Mustang stand out from the crowd is included here in the Fender Vintera 60s Mustang and that’s the unique electronics.
A simple three-position toggle so you can switch between using either pickup or both at once but if you want to go deeper with your sonic sculpting there are a few more functions at your disposal.
In addition to the pickup selector switch, two classic pickup slider switches along with Master Volume and Master Tone controls give you all the tools you need to forge your own signature sound.
Vintage-Style Hardware
Maintaining 1960s authenticity, the Fender Vintera 60s Mustang comes equipped with vintage-style hardware throughout.
A vintage-style Mustang floating tremolo bridge is fitted to the body providing that old-school cool appearance along with dynamic whammy bar action. Use this to get that great sound that was so popular in early rock ‘n’ roll and surf music!
Six vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons are fitted to the headstock providing that vintage look and feel along with precise and secure tuning.
