Classic Design and Road Worn Look
Hand-distressed to achieve an authentic broken-in appearance, the Fender Vintera Road Worn 60s Stratocaster looks just like a real Stratocaster from the 1960s.
Furthermore, just like those '60s models, the Road Worn Strat if finished in nitrocellulose lacquer which is renowned for its tonal qualities and the way in which it ages.
Attached to the body is a maple neck that also boasts a Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish along with a mid '60s "C" shape profile for that authentic old-school playing feel.
The Pau Ferro fretboard even has a 7.25" radius to further add to that classic playability.
Vintage Tone
Giving the Fender Vintera Road Worn 60s Stratocaster its old school voicing is a set of three Vintage-Style '60s single-coil Hot Strat pickups.
These pickups feature enamel-coated wire along with flat-top alnico 5 magnets in order to give you that unforgetable, vintage Stratocaster tone.
As a result, you get the beautifully bell-like tone that made the Fender so popular in the 60s.
A five-position blade is on hand so you can choose between the following pickup options:
- Position 1. Bridge Pickup
- Position 2. Bridge and Middle Pickup
- Position 3. Middle Pickup
- Position 4. Middle and Neck Pickup
- Position 5. Neck Pickup
You also have access to a master volume knob and two tone controls; one for both the neck and middle pickups and one just for the bridge pickup, so you can really shape your sound.
