Classic Stratocaster Design With A Twist

Straight away, you'll notice the iconic Fender Stratocaster shape. Its curved body lending ergonomic comfort while the double cutaway provides easy access to all the frets.

Then, you'll begin to notice the differences that clue you in that this is a Fender Stratocaster from a Parallel Universe.

Making a departure from the more traditional alder, the Uptown Strat's body is made from a single slab of mahogany. Unique for a Stratocaster, this wood imparts a darker flavour on your tone.

A gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Static White colour give this guitar a fantastic, vintage appearance.

Attached to the body is a one-piece, 24.75" scale mahogany neck with a '60s "C" shape profile for and old-school playing feel.

This neck is topped by a bound rosewood fretboard which features 22 medium jumbo frets and classy, white pearloid block inlays.

Dual Custom Double Tap Humbuckers

The driving force behind the Fender Parallel Universe II Uptown Strat's powerful voice is a set of two custom DoubleTap humbuckers.

These pickups have a unique, patent-applied-for design which gives you the full-bodied tone of humbuckers but with the articulate edge of single-coil pickups.

A three-position pickup switch can be found on the Uptown Stratocaster's upper bout, allowing you to select between using either pickup or both together.

Allowing you to really dial-in your perfect sound, each pickup has its own dedicated volume and tone controls.

Premium Hardware

Fitted to the body of the Fender Uptown Stratocaster is a 2-point synchronised tremolo bridge offering all that great whammy bar action while maintaining solid tuning stability and great sustain.

With six individual bent steel saddles, precise intonation is a breeze.

Up on the headstock, you'll find six Fender ClassicGear tuning machines offering rock-solid, perfectly precise tuning.

Where the neck meets the headstock, you'll find a bone nut providing fantastic sustain and bright, natural character in your tone.
