Come as you are to check out the Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar, seen here with it's NOS 3-Colour Sunburst finish. This excellent guitar is inspired by one of the loudest, most agressive, and most influential guitar players of all time, Kurt Cobain.

Smells Like a New Signature Fender guitar

Fender's Kurt Cobain Jaguar is a new-looking version of the battered and highly unusual 1965 Jaguar that Cobain wielded during the heady early-'90s era when Nirvana ruled rock and led a musically stunning and culturally subversive movement.

Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar Electric Guitar 3-Color Sunburst NOS Highlights

  • Artist Signature guitar for Nirvana frontman, the late, great Kurt Cobain
  • Jaguar-shaped body, crafted from Alder
  • Sleek-playing Maple neck, with a bound Rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays
  • Stratocaster headstock shape, with 1950s-style "Spaghetti" Fender logo
  • Two DiMarzio humbucker pickups: DP103 at the neck, and DP100 at the bridge: deliver that classic Cobain tone
  • Includes black hardshell case, and exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain book

High Quality Construction

Fender's in-house design team has pulled out all of the stops to deliver a faithful recreation of Cobain's prized 1965 Jaguar guitar, from the tonewoods used, to the hardware and beyond.

Featuring a solid Alder body, a short-scale Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, faux tortoise shell pickguard, and even that classic Jaguar "Floating" tremolo tailpiece, this guitar is a definite blast from two pasts - the mid 1960s for when it was first made, and the early 1990s for when Cobain bought it.

Huge Guitar Sounds

To deliver that signature Cobain sound, this guitar has been fitted with a pair of powerful DiMarzio humbucking pickups - a PAF 36th Anniversary DP103 at the neck, and a Super Distortion DP100 at the bridge.

These excellent pickups, along with the special Jaguar switching system, allow you to reliver the dark intensity and huge sounds that became synonymous with the grunge rock movement of the early 1990s.

NOS Status

Whilst Cobain's highly-unusual and battered 1965 Jaguar had seen better days when first seen gracing the stage, this particular model has been created to achieve NOS - New Old Stock - status.

In other words, whilst it sports the same specifications and playing feel as the 1965 original, it has been created to look brand new, giving you a very good idea what Kurt's guitar would have looked like when it was fresh from the factory.
