Custom-Spec Electronics
Custom Seymour Duncan split single-coil Mustang bass pickups give this awesome bass guitar its driving tone with that classic Fender vibe and incredible punchiness.
This bass has a unique tone, with a simple two-knob control section allowing you to adjust the Master Volume and Master Tone.
Played-In Feel
Even when picking up the Justin Meldal-Johnsen Road Worn Mustang Bass for the first time, it'll feel like an old friend.
Its Alder body has been finished with a special Road Worn Nitrocellulose Lacquer, giving it the appearance of a guitar that has seen a lot of love and a lot of action.
Maple has been used for the comfortable "C" shape neck which features a 9.5" radius Rosewood fingerboard with 19 Medium Jumbo frets and aged pearloid dots. Rolled edges make it feel like a bass you've been playing for years.
The 30" scale length provides a nicely tight and focused tone while the thicker headstock adds mass for a fuller sound.
On the body you will find a 4-saddle Mustang Bass strings-through-body bridge and a 4-ply aged white pearloid pickguard.
Standard open-gear machine heads with comfortable "lollipop" tuners allow for precise and secure tuning.
