Rock Solid Construction

Thanks to a Mahogany slab body, this guitar produces naturally crushing lows and mids, and is perfectly complimented by the awesome EMG pickups fitted to it.

In addition to this, there's a super-fast playing Maple Neck, that's been carved with a Thin "C" profile shape, and capped with a shred-worthy, 12" radius, bound Ebony fingerboard.

Stripped Back Approach To Hardware

In place of the traditional Jazzmaster vibrato bridge, the Jim Root Jazzmaster V4 sports a hardtail fixture, with strings-through-body construction.

Not only that, but the tuning machines are a set of Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking tuners, which work perfectly with the bridge to offer superior levels of stability and intonation - even with alternate tunings!

Signature Pickups

To deliver those crushing riffs and lead lines that he is renowned for, Jim Root worked closely with EMG to develop his own signature "Daemonum" humbuckers.

These open-coil pickups combine the tone of the classic 81/60 combination, with the added benefits and versatility of the Retro Active design.

Thanks to the inclusion of Stud Poles, these pickups can take you from high-end percussive cleans, through to molten riffs with ease.
