In 1964 the iconic Fender Mustang appeared much to the delight of musicians everywhere. Its unusual retro styling and simple set up drew the Fender fans in. This Japanese designed Fender MIJ (Made in Japan) Traditional '60s Mustang Left Handed instrument is crafted for you by Fender Japan. Finished in the popular Sonic Blue, it features a matching Sonic Blue headstock.
These Fender Made in Japan (MIJ) guitars give the Fender enthusiast an instrument that delivers something different to the general Fender guitars, whether it be an alternative colour or different pickups.

Retro 1960s, Built in Japan
Crafted in Japan, this Japanese Mustang delivers 60s' styling through a simple slim alder body. Being a slightly shorter scale makes the Mustang a comfortable instrument to hold. The alder body delivers a warm resonance that you would expect from this guitar. A "U" shaped maple neck and a 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 Vintage frets makes the neck the comfortable and easy when fretting, offering retro character when playing.
A Mustang bridge with dynamic vibrato tailpiece offers the musician vintage style trem play. A matching Sonic Blue headstock finishes off the iconic trend of this Limited Edition Japanese guitar, making it a classic.
60s vision Single-Coils and Controls
The Fender made low-output Single-Coil pickups offer that precise Mustang single coil voice which delivers shining cleans to deep growls. Classic Fender sounds cut through any mix with its enhanced mids and highs.
