These pickups have been created using Alnico 5 magnets, along with formvar wires, period-correct cloth wire, and fibre bobbins - giving them the authentic 50's sound that launched the Strat's initial popularity.

You need not worry about them keeping up with modern day guitars though - the hot-rodded wiring design gives them an increased bass response, and plenty of modern punch.
