Known for its beautiful resonance, pronounced upper midrange, excellent sustain and sharp attack, Alder has been used for the body of the American Performer Tele.
A cutaway to the lower bout gives the Telecaster its distinctive style while providing easy reach to the upper frets; essential for great guitar solos.
Attached to the body is a Maple neck with a modern “C” shape profile and a satin finish, giving you an incredibly comfortably grip that is lightning fast to play.
Atop the neck is a traditional Rosewood fretboard that has a modern 9.5” radius and 22 jumbo frets for easy playability and precise, effortless bends.
New Yosemite Pickups and Greasebucket Circuitry
Designed and voiced to deliver amazing sonic versatility for incredible tones suitable for all styles of music, new Fender Yosemite pickups giving the American Performer Stratocaster its powerful voice.
These newly designed pickups feature flat-staggered pole pieces in order to give you increased output. They also boast coatings that keep feedback under control while letting the coil breathe with shellac used on the neck pickup and wax potting on the bridge pickup.
A three-position toggle allows you to switch up how you use the pickups with your choice of using either pickup individually or both together.
The Master Tone features Greasebucket circuitry so you’re able to roll off the highs without adding in unwanted bass, keeping your tone crisp and pristine.
A Master Volume control is also on hand allowing you to adjust the overall level of your output.
