Crafted in California
Known for its great resonance and excellent sustain, Alder has been used for the body of the Fender American Performer Jazzmaster.
With its elegantly offset waist, the Jazzmaster is ergonomic, easy to hold and visually distinctive. The cutaway shape also allows for each reach of the higher frets which is great for performing solos.
Attached to the body is a Maple neck which boasts a modern “C” shape profile and a glorious satin finish. These features work together to give you a comfortable and easy playing neck.
Adding to that great playability is a traditional Rosewood fretboard with a modern 9.5” radius and 22 jumbo frets making for effortless and accurate bends.
New Yosemite Jazzmaster Pickups
Fitted with dual Yosemite Jazzmaster single-coil pickups, the Fender American Performer Jazzmaster has a beautifully powerful and versatile voice.
These newly designed pickups deliver rich and expressive tone and feature shellac potting which allows the coils to breathe while keeping feedback under control.
A three-position toggle allows you to choose to use either pickup or both together at once.
Further tone shaping comes in the form of Master Volume and Master Tone controls. Furthermore, with the inclusion of a Greasebucket, you’re able to roll off the highs without adding bass, retaining the crispy clarity of your tone.
High Quality Hardware
A set of high-quality Nickel and Chrome hardware finishes this fantastic guitar.
Look to the headstock and you’ll find six Fender ClassicGear machine heads which offer ultra-precise 18:1 turning ratio for great tuning while providing a vintage aesthetic.
