When designing the Fender American Elite Telecaster, Fender ensured that even with the wide ranging cutting-edge innovations that the classic, timeless visual style of the Fender Telecaster must remain.

The Fender Tele’s body is made of Ash wood featuring the classic single cutaway for enhanced reach of the upper frets and comes in a timeless, understated Butterscotch Blonde finish which shows the beautiful, natural grain of the Ash body.

All-New American Elite Neck and Heel

Redesigned for 21st Century guitar players, the American Elite Telecaster features a new compound neck profile to ensure ultimate comfort and playability.

Starting with a modern “C” shape at the nut, gradually becoming a modern “D” shaped profile – this neck is easier, more comfortable and more fun to play than ever before.

Along with the single cutaway design, to further enhance reach of the upper frets, a new cutaway neck heel adds a beautifully elegant and functional modern style to the American Elite Telecaster.

The cutaway neck heel blends seamlessly into an asymmetrical neck volute delivering an extremely comfortable, enhanced playing feel.

A 9.5” – 14” compound radius Maple fretboard shapes the playing area nicely for improved riffing and chording at the low end of the fretboard while lead work and solos are easier than ever towards the higher frets.

Enhanced Electronics with the Fender S-1 Switch

Fender American Elite Telecasters sport the all-new 4th generation Noiseless pickups that are exclusive to the Fender American Elite series. These incredible new pickups deliver the classic style of a single coil pickup but with none of the usual drawbacks such as hum, buzz and other unwanted noise.

At the cutting edge of Fender’s pickup designs, the 4th gen Noiseless pickups offer incredibly diverse sonic performance from crisp and clear cleans to huge overdriven tones for that full rock flavour.

Giving you further tonal control, the Fender American Elite Telecaster features the innovative S-1 switch allowing you to activate series or parallel wiring options when using both pickups.

With the S-1 Switch discreetly located in the top of the volume control, you can easily adjust your sound with the flick of a finger mid-play.

A new double action truss rod adjustment wheel makes it extremely easy to adjust the neck relief without the need for any special tools.

At the headstock, you’ll find newly designed locking short-post tuning machines that help with easy and fast re-stringing and improve playability. They also provide an increased break angle at the nut and improve tuning stability.

To sweeten the deal, the Fender American Elite Telecaster even comes with a redesigned ABS Elite Moulded Case with TSA approved locks so you can transport your new instrument in full confidence that it is completely protected; even when going by plane.
