Inspired Tonewood Combination

The unusual pairing of Red Cedar and Mahogany is perfect for this size of guitar. With the Cedar your guitar will be characteristically lush, dark-toned, and bursting with flavour, and although less powerful in projection than a spruce top, Cedar provides you with plenty of bottom end to make up for it.

Mahogany adds in plenty of woody overtones, giving your guitar a much more traditional, folksy feel, and when combined with the Cedar top you get an overall sound which is rich and warm, perfectly complimenting the Classic Burst finish.

12th Fret Construction

Whilst most acoustic guitars see the neck attached to the body at the 14th fret, the Faith Mercury attaches at the 12th fret instead. This ensures that the strings are held at a slightly lower tension than on the more traditional models, making them much more comfortable to play. In addition to this, the bridge is shifted further from the sound hold, giving the guitar a much bigger voice than you'd get with a traditional 14th fret join.

High Grade Electronics

The Faith Classic Burst Mercury Electro Acoustic combines a Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup with an easy-to-use Fishman Sonitone Preamp (controls conveniently placed just inside the guitar's sound hole), allowing you to to accurately amplify your playing with ease, without having to mic-up the guitar.
