Exquisite Tonewood Choices

For the body on this guitar Faith have opted for the classic tonewood pairing of a Torrefied Solid Canadian Sitka Spruce for the top, and Solid Rosewood for the back and sides.

Together, this combination of woods delivers on all fronts, bringing together incredible looks with a rich and articulate tone, providing you with the kind of voice that has been a firm favourite of singer/songwriters the world over since the 1950s.

Torrefaction Process

As mentioned above, this guitar sports a Torrefied top piece of Sitka Spruce, which means it has been prematurely-aged via a kiln.

This results in a more stable top-piece, that produces a rich, mellow tone with a mature voicing - just like you'd naturally get with a guitar that has been owned and played for a couple of decades.

This process also results in the spruce's golden-caramel aesthetics, for that classic acoustic guitar look.

Fishman Electronics

As stated above, the Faith FG2NCE has been equipped with a Fishman FLEX-BLEND preamp system, with an undersaddle piezo pickup and condensor mic.

This system offers incredible sound balance, and allows you to perform more percussive techniques with ease, whilst the preamp is equipped with three ultra-discreet knobs - EQ contour control, blend control (Piezo/Mic), and Phase - along with a built-in tuner.

In addition to this, the jack output is built into the strap button at the guitar's base, helping to preserve the classic acoustic look.
