Style and Playability
The basswood body of the EVH Wolfgang WG Standard features a special "comfort cut" forearm contour for increased comfort while playing.
Attached to the body is a baked maple neck which is graphite-reinforced so it can withstand warping caused by adverse temperature and humidity.
This neck has been carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's own specifications and has a slick, oiled finish on the back for speedy playing.
Atop the neck is a 12" - 16" compound radius baked maple fretboard which offers the optimum playing area wherever your fretting hand goes.
EVH Wolfgang Humbuckers
Providing the powerful voice of the EVH Wolfgang WG Standard is a set of two EVH Wolfgang humbuckers.
Mounted directly to the EVH Wolfgang WG Standard's body, these pickups boast incredible sustain.
Set to Eddie Van Halen's exacting specifications, two domed control knobs (one each for tone and volume) are on board with smooth 500k pots allowing you to dial-in your preferred sound with ease.
Floyd Rose Hardware
Fitted to the body of the EVH Wolfgang WG Standard is a Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo bridge.
This bridge works together with the R2 locking nut to give you incredible tuning stability, extended sustain and, of course, amazing tremolo action.
Up on the headstock, you'll find a set of six EVH branded tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning.
