100 Watt All Valve Guitar Head
With the EVH 5150 III HD you get a 100 Watt guitar amplifier head, with all-valve preamp and power amp sections, that's just as good for rich clean tones as it is for searing, high-gain leads.
Featuring three channels with independent tone stacks, a global resonance knob, and even a four-button footswitch, this excellent amplifier is ideal for pretty much any playing style you can think of.
The One That Started It All
This amplifier was the first ever launched by EVH Gear, and represents the culmination of EVH's famed chase for the "holy grail of tone".
The three channels (Clean, Crunch, and Lead) expertly deliver a full spectrum of tone that delivers sweet spots for pretty much any musical genre.
Whether you want a transparently true clean, super heavy crunch, or all-out distortion, these channels can take you there - and everywhere in between.
Dial It In
Dialling in your perfect tone can be easily achieved via the comprehensive control set on the amp, which each channel feating Gain, Low, Mid, High, Volume, and Presence controls.
Whether you want to sample various flavours of high-gain metal, saturated hard rock, or crunchy rhythm blues, these are the tools you need.
All-Valve Construction
Powering the awesome voice of this amp you will find a whopping eight (yes, 8!) 12AX7 preamp valves, and four powerful JJ 6L6 matched power valves.
These vvalves/tubes combine for wide open, sparklingly articulate highs, with the kind of controlled bass response that Van Halen was synonymous with.
