Like its namesake, the SCT607B delivers a gnarly presence which caters to players who prefer to play low and heavy. Combined with a stunning aesthetic, this seven-string baritone is guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd.
Key Features:
Old-School Style, Modern Design - Despite its traditional shape, the SCT-607B is far from conventional due to its 7-string, 27” baritone scale, and neck-thru-body construction. It has an alder body that provides comfort, which is then combined with a three-piece maple neck. In addition, The Macassar ebony fingerboard is unadorned and boasts 24 extra-jumbo frets which are effortlessly accessible across the whole neck, perfect for ambient leads to crushing low riffs.
Signature Fishman Fluence Pickups - Showcasing the finest hardware to tick every box of avid Deftones fanatics along with any latter-day metal guitarist, the SCT-607B comes with a set of Stephen's signature Fishman Fluence pickups. With a Ceramic pickup in the bridge and an alnico pickup in the mid position, this signature Baritone is sure to pack a sonic punch.
Versatile Tone - Consisting of two voices along with a selectable push-pull volume control, Voice 1 (modern active) supplies Stephen's midrange tweak on the original modern Fluence sound. Whereas Voice 2 (modern passive attack) is the metal guru's very own custom voicing, with some tweaks to the tone and gain to ensure rivetting heat and sharpness.
