Top Notch Construction
For the body on this guitar, ESP have opted to go for the classic Solid Mahogany construction, with a lower-bout cutaway for easy access to the neck's upper frets.
The 3-piece Mahogany neck is set-thru the body, for increased sustain, and carved with a Thin "U" profile shape to offer fast and easy access to every available note on the Ebony fingerboard.
In addition to this, the LTD EC-1000 D is adorned with a whole host of premium appointments, such as locking tuners, gold hardware and binding, and even mother of pearl fret inlays.
Seymour Duncan Pickups
To give this guitar its awesome voice, ESP have opted for one of the most popular Seymour Duncan pickup combinations of all time: a JB at the Bridge, and a '59 at the neck.
These pickups combine to offer an array of rich, thick, hard-rocking tones and help make the guitar suitable for genres that range from rock n' roll through to heavy metal and everything in between.
