Crafting a Classic

The body of the Les Paul Special VE has been crafted from light Poplar and cut to the same, iconic Les Paul profile as all genuine Les Paul guitars, with the single cutaway design allowing for easy reach of the higher frets – perfect for solos.

Attached to the body via sturdy bolt-on construction is an Okoume neck with a 1960’s SlimTaper D profile, giving you a fast and comfortable playing experience.

Atop the neck, you’ll find traditional Pearloid “Dot” inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets while the truss rod cover has the famous bell shape that every Les Paul has sported since the early ‘50s.

Open Coil Humbuckers and Quality Hardware

Giving the Les Paul Special VE its awesome voice is a pair of Epiphone’s world famous open-coil humbuckers.

In the neck position, you’ll find a warm sounding 650R pickup while the bridge position holds a slightly hotter 700T.

A three-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose between either pickup or a combination of the two while Master Volume and Master Tone controls, using black “Speed” knobs, allow for quick and easy dialling in of your favourite tones.
