Smaller Size, Incredible Voice
This high-quality, pint-sized guitar is constructed with a solid centre block in true ES-style fashion. Due to the reduced size though, the guitar is much lighter and easier to transport than with the bigger ES models.
The glued-in Mahogany neck features a traditional Mortise and Tenon neck joint, and comes with an easy-to-play SilmTaper "D"-shaped profile. This neck is also capped with a smooth Pau Ferro fingerboard, inlaid with mother-of-pearl style Dot fret markers.
Premium-Grade Electronics
To deliver that legendary ES-style voice, Epiphone opted to fit the ES-339 with a pair of Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers.
These pickups produce a higher output in the Mid and High frequency rangers, making them ideal for both clean and effects-laden playing alike.
As if that wasn't enough, the volume control for each pickup hides a little secret in the shape of a Push/Pull coil-tap function. In other words, if your situation means you need a crisp, clear single coil tone, simply pull the Volume pot into the Up position for the pickup you want, and hey presto!
