Combining Epiphone's Advanced Jumbo body shape, classic tonewoods and a high quality Shadow Performer pickup system, the AJ-220SCE is a great-all rounder perfect for singer songwriters. With a balanced tone response offered by the combination of a mahogany body and a sitka spruce top, the AJ220SCE is well suited for learning the basics at home, or for stage and studio performance too.
The great thing about Sitka Spruce is that it actually plays better over time, so the more you play it, the sweeter it sounds! The bell-like tone of the AJ acoustic is achieved thanks to a larger lower bout and smaller, rounded upper bout, which improves focus and projection. A stylish venetian cutaway makes way for super fast upper fret access.

The solid mahogany neck has a 25.5” scale and is glued to the body using TiteBond glue and a traditional dovetail neck joint for great stability, tone, and sustain. The neck features Epiphone's classic 1960's SlimTaper D-profile with a smooth, fast, satin finish that’s easy to play. The bound rosewood fingerboard has a 12” radius with a 1.68” nut, 20 medium jumbo frets, and dot inlays.
The AJ-220SCE includes all nickel hardware including premium sealed die-cast tuners with 14:1 ratio for tuning accuracy and stability.
