Building upon our initial tribute to the iconic tone that inspired countless riffs, the EHX Satisfaction Plus pedal offers a vast range of tones, spanning from the classic '60s snarl to a creamy lead tone and a thick, earth-shattering sludge.
While the original Satisfaction Fuzz circuit was a direct homage, the Satisfaction Plus Fuzz incorporates a contemporary control set, including a FAT/NORM mode switch, Bias control, and Tone knob. The newly added FAT mode produces a bigger and warmer tone than the NORM mode, perfect for generating woolly leads and colossal wall-of-sound riffs.
The Tone control functions as an active tilt-shift EQ, inversely managing both the fuzz's treble and bass frequencies for extensive tonal variation. The Bias control enables users to customize the fuzz character from balanced and open to gated and snarly.
