Not one, but two narrow filters sweep your tones under control of the envelope, generating very unique vocal-like sounds. A distortion switch enriches the harmonics. The response control varies the sweep range determined by your attack. Not only designed for and great on bass guitar, but also very funky on guitar.
If you're unsure as to the kind of sound it can produce, think of Flea's "Sir Psycho Sexy" bassline from the awesome Blood Sugar Sex Magik album, by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (yes, you RHCP purists out there, I know that Flea didn't use this pedal on that track, BUT you can achieve the same kind of sound with the correct settings).
Easy to Use
Unlike most modern pedals, the Bassballs is incredibly easy to use. Aside from the activation switch, you have quite literally two controls to master, and one of those is a simple On/Off switch. However, as with all new pedals, I'd recommend getting used to these controls before performing with it. Or not, that way your sound will be as much a surprise to you as to your crowd!
