Automatic PWM Fuzz & Dynamic Natural Overdrive by EarthQuaker Devices
Gary's heart and soul live in the balance of smooth overdrive and intense fuzz, effortlessly switching between the two with a flick of your dynamics. On the fuzz side, Gary delivers a square wave distortion that intensifies based on your picking force, thanks to an envelope-controlled pulse-width modulation. Engage the Yes! control for interactive fuzz that adapts as you play, transitioning from fat and heavy to razor-sharp and nasal with every increase. This sensitivity can be adjusted with an expression pedal for tailored tone or left to pulse on its own for a truly unique, evolving sound.
Meanwhile, Gary’s overdrive side delivers a full-bodied, op-amp-based distortion that retains tonal clarity, or can be dialed back to a clean boost that pushes your amp right to the edge. Inspired by the "green channel" of EarthQuaker's discontinued Gray Channel, it brings natural, smooth overdrive with enough depth to fill any mix.
With its all-analog signal path, silent relay-based switching, and Flexi-Switch technology, Gary brings pro-level features in an artistically crafted pedal. If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
