Intuitive Controls
The four controls on this pedal can be broken down as follows:
Range Selector - lets you choose from Jim Dunlops four most popular sweep ranges, from warm and vintage to modern and aggressive
Q Control - allow's you to shape the Wah effect's response from a narrow bandpass to a wider one
Volume and Boost - these final two controls are great for when you bump your signal to the front of the mix, for those roaring lead lines, whilst the LED indicator lets you know when the Boost is engaged
Auto-Return Switch
They key way in which this pedal stands out from its forebear is - as mentioned above - the inclusion of an Auto-Return switch.
With this switch, adding some of that Crybaby magic to your playing is simply a case of pushing down on the toe of the pedal to engage the effect, and then removing your foot so it automatically moves back into the starting position.
