Expert Craftsmanship

The body of the Duesenberg Starplayer TV is made using an arched Spruce top. Spruce is possibly the most popular top wood in the world of acoustic guitars due to its rich character, great resonance and wide range.

Flamed Maple is used for the back and sides, with the back also featuring an elegant arch, adding an extra touch of high end luxury to the Duesenberg Starplayer TV.

Beautifully Playable

Attached to the body is a D shaped Maple neck offering comfortable playability and featuring a traditional Rosewood fretboard.

The 12” radius and 22 jumbo frets offer fantastic performance that can facilitate deep bends without fretting out.

The fretboard has received a coveted plek dressing and has been finished by hand, resulting in a beautifully smooth playability.

Excellent Electronics

For the bridge pickup, the Starplayer TV is equipped with a Duesenberg GrandVintage Humbucker that delivers all the beefy tone you need for huge and heavy riffs.

This has been paired with an open Domino P90 pickup which adds a bright and airy character to your sound that’s great for creamy licks and cutting lead lines.

A three-way pickup selector allows you to choose between using either pickup individually while the middle position features special wiring.

Selecting this middle position activates both pickups while removing certain low end frequencies from the humbucker’s signal so you get an amazingly unique and open sound.

This combination of pickups and special wiring gives you an incredibly diverse pallet of sounds to perform with.

High End Hardware

As always with Duesenberg guitars, the Starplayer TV is fitted exclusively with Duesenberg hardware which you won’t find on any other brand of guitars.

Up on the headstock, you’ll find famous Duesenberg Z-Tuners providing ultra-precise and secure tuning of your strings. The “Art Diego” buttons are comfortable, easy to use and add to the already gorgeous aesthetic of this semi-hollow guitar.

Fitted to the body is a Duesenberg steel saddle bridge offering perfectly precise intonation.

Just beneath the bridge you’ll find the legendary Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola. This tremolo system is incredibly lightweight and helps with delivering great tone.

The combination of a heavy duty needle and nylon bearings ensures silky smooth and highly responsive performance as you work the tremolo arm.

What’s more, the tremolo arm can be turned freely for 360 degrees meaning you can set your own personal perfect angle and it can be removed in seconds, should you want to.
