The PAF 36th Anniversary Neck pickup captures the essence of vintage humbuckers with a soft magnetic field, sweet tone, and a balance of warmth and clarity. Inspired by pioneers like Seth Lover, we re-engineered the PAF using our patented technology and Larry DiMarzio’s 1959 Gibson Les Paul for reference. The weak magnetic field allows for longer string vibration and well-defined sound, almost like a single-coil. Our computer-controlled winders ensure precise frequency response, and the custom formula dipping process eliminates squeal and microphonics. The nickel-silver cover with new plating enhances magnetic transparency.
Timeless Tone, Modern Precision
There is no single standard for the sound of a 1950s humbucker, as their output and tone varied widely. Our recent research aims to create pickups with warm highs and bright lows, a characteristic we admire in our favorite vintage humbuckers. This balance is ideal for pickups used in both neck and bridge positions, ensuring bass strings in the neck remain clear and treble strings in the bridge stay warm without becoming brittle.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
