Roaring Feedback

Natural feedback from your amp can add a really great intensity to your performance but sometimes it is not always achievable depending on your stage position and you don’t get much control over the harmonics.

The DigiTech FreqOut guitar and bass pedal is a very unique stompbox, creating full, natural feedback even when you need to keep your volume down and under control, such as in a recording situation or practise. It also works great at full gig volume allowing you to focus full-on feedback on a preferred harmonic at any stage position.

Using advanced pitch detection technology, the FreqOut automatically identifies the harmonic content of singles notes and chords then enables the desired frequencies to feed back with a fantastic musical quality.

Full Feedback Control

To really give you the power of utilising the feedback for your musical performance and bending it to your will, DigiTech have built in a great set of controls to the FreqOut pedal.

A knob labelled ‘ONSET’ allows you to adjust the attack speed of the feedback, while a GAIN knob allows you to adjust the amount of feedback entering the mix.

A ‘TYPE’ knob allows you to select one of seven harmonic types you want to feedback, giving you the options of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, Nat Low, Nat Hi and Sub.

A ‘DRY’ switch allows you to set whether you want the dry signal from your guitar to be on or off during use of the feedback effect.

Lastly, a ‘MOMENTARY’ switch which sets the operation of the footswitch. With MOMENTARY set to OFF, feedback will be toggled on and off with a stomping of the footswitch while having it set to ON means the feedback will only occur while the footswitch is held down.
