Crest Audio Tactus

The Tactus Digital Mixing System has been created by Crest Audio in partnership with Waves, and is the ideal solution for audio engineers who require the very best in audio systems.

This Tactus.FOH mixing platform works great within other systems, but truly shines when combined with the Tactus.Stage and Tactus.Control modules.

The Tactus.FOH

With the Tactus.FOH you get a combination of the industry-standard Soundgrid Server technology, the proven Waves eMotion LV1 mixer, and industry-renowned Tactus I/O interfaces. This unit actsas the server and DSP brain for the entire setup - its "beating heart", if you will.

With the full set of modules in use, all audio data is passed to the Tactus.FOH from the Tactus.Stage, before then being processed and re-routed out again to the Tactus.Control.

Plug-In Compatible

Another key feature of the Tactus.FOH is the fact that its processing is based on the world-renowned Waves plug-ins - in other words each channel can be fully customised for the source, and the same plug-in "rack" is available on all outputs and buses.

For instance, one of the available plug-ins is the Dugan Automixer. This particular plug-in will automatically control the input gain levels, making it ideal for when multiple microphones are in use at the same time.
