Fast-Playing Neck

Attached to the afore-mentioned, modified Dinky basswood body is a slinky Maple neck, that's been custom-shaped to Vivaldi's preferences.

Sitting atop the neck is a 12"-16" Compound Radius Maple fingerboard with rolled fret edges and stylish Cascading Dot inlays.

Together, this neck and fingerboard offer a superb combination of extreme comfort and high-performance, allowing your fingers to glide across each and every note with relative ease.

Incredible Tone

For the pickups on his guitar, Vivaldi opted for the popular DiMarzio Air Norton and Tone Zone humbucker combination - with each pickup specially voiced to suit a 7-string.

With the neck positioned Air Norton, you get a pickup tone that's both warm and well-defined, making it ideal for both clean and overdiven signals alike.

At the bridge we have the fantastic Tone Zone - a pickup with a wide dynamic range that reacts to your picking intensity, with a clean and quiet reaction with softer picking, and extra power with harder picking.

Versatile Switching

Despite only sporting two Humbucker pickups, the Angel Vivaldi Signature features an impressive 5 different pickup switching options.

In positions 1 (Bridge), 3 (Middle), and 5 (Neck) you get the sounds that you'd expect from a dual humbucker guitar. However, Positions 2 and 4 are where the differences come in.

Position 2 activates the two inner single coils on each pickup, giving you a tone that sounds great when cleaned up. On the other hand, Position 4 activates both coils of the Neck pickup in Parallel, giving you a thick, almost-Soapbar-like neck tone.
