Teenage Engineering are also known for their line of Pocket Operators – a collection of 9 calculator-sized synthesisers, drum machines and samplers. Pocket Operators are part of Teenage Engineering’s goal to make electronic music accessible to everyone.
In 2018, Teenage Engineering released the OP-Z – a multimedia sequencer designed for fast, flexible and intuitive workflow. The OP-Z can sequence music, lights and motion graphics using its unique LED interface.
Their latest venture, Pocket Operator Modular, has seen them step into the realm of modular synthesis. The POM-400 & POM-170 are fully analogue, battery-powered modular synthesisers. There is also an analogue sequencer / keyboard as part of the range – the POM-16. As if that wasn’t enough, they are packaged as a DIY kit for you to build at home, prompting the slogan ‘Think Twice, Bend Once’.
