Darkglass CEO and Founder Douglas Castro reached a point in his bass-playing life where he couldn't seem to produce the sounds and tones that were in his head with the technology available to him. Therefore he set out to design and create a range of pedals and preamps to help inspire bass players around the world to take their rightful place in the band hierarchy: the very top. And thus, alongside Co-founder Hugo Villarroel, Darkglass Electronics was formed, and the world of bass playing was changed forever!
