The 2020 line up of Gibson Guitars has been unveiled including 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard, Les Paul Tribute, 70s Flying V, 70s Explorer & More
The team at Gibson have revealed the 2020 Gibson Guitars lineup which includes a selection of 60th Anniversary Les Paul standard guitars, some awesome 70s style Explorer and Flying V guitars and really cool Les Paul Tribute models.
Gibson 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard guitars
The Gibson guitars 2020 line up features 3 different 1960 Les Paul Standard guitars.
You have versions 1, 2 and 3 of the Gibson "Burst" History to choose from.
The team at Gibson have painstakingly recreated 3 versions of a 1960 Les Paul Standard.
The Les Paul models in the first part of 1960 (V1) had 1959 style necks, the middle third of 1960 (V2) had thinner neck profiles adding extra comfort, slightly different knobs and brighter colours. The Les Paul guitars created in the final third (V3) saw even thinner neck profiles that players still enjoy today.
You can choose from V1 in Deep Cherry Sunburst or Antiquity Burst with an Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape.
Alternatively, the V2 with Authentic '60 Slim C-Shape neck is available in Tomato Soup Burst or Orange Lemon Fade whilst the V3 models feature an authentic '60 Skinny C-Shape and come in Wide Tomato Burst or Washed Bourbon Burst.
Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute with Humbucker & P-90 Models
The brand new Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute brings back a classic design, but adds a little extra to keep up with the requirements of the modern musician.
The Humbucker version features a Mahogany body with 490R and 490T open-coil humbucking pickups for that classic fat Gibson tone.

- Natural Walnut Satin

The Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute P-90 version includes a set of Gibson P-90 pickups that provide that classic roaring tone.

Both versions feature a Rounded Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, white button tuners and compensated wraparound tailpiece.
Gibson 70s Flying V & 70s Explorer
Gibson has also unveiled the impressive 70s-style Flying V and Explorer guitars both in Classic White.
These guitars have been recreated to capture the feel of vintage instruments and include bound Rosewood fretboards with slim-taper necks. Both guitars include a set of uncovered ‘70s tribute humbuckers which will blow the roof off any venue. All electronics are hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors keep your tone pure.
Gibson Custom Shop Models
Gibson has also released a selection of Custom Shop guitars. The 2020 Gibson Custom Shop models are in extremely limited numbers and are accurate recreations of vintage instruments.
