The Blackstar JJN 50H Jared James Nichols Signature Amp is a powerhouse designed to meet the evolving needs of Jared James Nichols as his career progressed, offering unmatched power, tone, and versatility. Following the success of his first signature model, the JJN 20, this new JJN 50H amplifies the same tonal spirit but with even more headroom and flexibility for live and studio environments.
In Jared's words, the JJN 50H is a "beast of an amp" that was meticulously crafted to deliver his signature sound—something he has honed with Blackstar since 2010. The amp packs custom features such as the Blues Power Boost circuit for Jared’s signature growl and CabRig technology, which provides an IR-based speaker simulation for highly detailed, professional sound reproduction without the need for miking a cabinet. The JJN 50H offers versatility for home recording, live performance, and everything in between.

CabRig Technology: Pre-loaded with 3 custom speaker simulations developed with Jared, including ‘JJN Classic Muscle,’ ‘JJN Modern Grit,’ and ‘JJN Nashville Basement.’ This advanced speaker simulation can be captured via USB, XLR out, or headphones, offering great flexibility and virtually no latency.
Blues Power Boost Circuit: Low-to-mid gain pedal platform that can unleash Jared’s signature growl with the hit of a boost.
Pro Connectivity: With USB audio for recording and an XLR DI for live use, this amp integrates seamlessly into any modern setup, making it perfect for both the stage and studio.
