Beautiful Clean Tones

With the Balckstar HT-20R MkII you have two Clean Voices. Using the two button footswitch that comes with the amp, you can choose between an "American" style voice and a Class A "British" inspired voice.

Voice 1 delivers the kind of tight tone and solid bass response you expect from classic American amps.

Switch over to Voice 2 for a highly responsive, chimey tone which looser more resonant bottom end. Much like the voices of the legendary British amps that inspire it, this voice can be driven hard to achieve fantastic mid-range overdrive.

Awesome Overdrives

In addition to the two clean voices, you'll find two footswitchable Overdrive Voices.

Voice 1 is the Classic "British" Blackstar overdrive which is rich and natural sounding. You can take it up to a raucous Super Crunch gain or clean it up nicely.

Selecting Voice 2 gives you high gain sounds reminiscent of the critically acclaimed HT Venue MkII amp. This overdrive features very aggressive high-end and boasts tight yet resonant low end.

Total Tone Shaping

Getting the sound in your head to come out of your amp is easy with the Blackstar HT-20R Mk2's controls.

A dedicated OD equalisation section gives you hands-on control over the bass, middle and treble frequencies for overall sound sculpting.

In addition to this, Blackstar's patented ISF (or Infinite Shape Feature) control works as a contour for powerful tone shaping.

By turning the ISF control. anti-clockwise you scoop the midrange for a more American style sound.

Turn the ISF knob clockwise for more pronounced midrange and top end for classic British amp character.

Feature Packed

The standard setting for the Blackstar HT-20R MkII gives you 20 watts of valve powered output.

However, you can take it down to just 2 watts which is great for practice, allowing you to play at a low volume while maintaining that awesome valve tone.

Furthermore, if you want to play late into the night you can plug in your headphones and enjoy some private practice without disturbing your neighbours.

Great for recording, the HT-20 MkII features a USB output for easy connection to your favourite DAW.

The Blackstar HT-20R MkII is also equipped with a pro balanced XLR D.I. output which features emulated signals to be connected to external devices such as the mixing desk and audio interfaces.

USB audio connection is on board so it's ready to just plug-in and get recording.

You'll also find mp3/line input in the back so you can play your favourite songs through the amp.
