The SJB-5 5-String Jazz Bass Stack pickups utilize blade design and stacked-coil structure for a balanced, noise-free and vintage tone. These passive pickups offer accurate, even response with vintage output. The neck pickup provides warm character on its own, while the bridge pickup adds definition and snap. Together, they create a well-rounded tone with a slight mid-range dip, ideal for slap-style play.
These pickups fit traditional 5-string Fender Jazz Bass covers and can be used on 4 or 5-string instruments due to the blade construction. Not compatible with modern Fender Jazz V retrofitting. Suitable for string spacings up to 2.9" (73.6mm) for both neck and bridge. Pair the neck pickup with the 5-string bridge Jazz Bass Stack for a perfect match.
Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, CA, these pickups feature a ceramic bar magnet, 4-conductor lead-wire, and vacuum wax potting for noiseless performance.
