Slick Playability - in addition to a slimmer, more-contoured body than ever, the StingRay Special is equipped with a select Roasted Maple neck and - in this case - Ebony fingerboard, both of which are designed to offer a super-smooth playing experience, whatever your playstyle.
Powerful Electronics - in place of the more traditional Alnico magnet humbuckers, Music Man have opted for Neodymium magnets in their StingRay Special lineup, which has a much stronger magnetic pull than Alnico for a much more articulate sound. Not only that, but the pickups are complimented by an 18v active preamp and 3-way selector switch, to deliver a versatile array of the most powerful StingRay sounds ever
Reliable Hardware - delivering an ultra-secure playing experience, whilst at the same time being designed to compliment the StingRay Special's lightweight design, you'll find an all-new set of tuning machines with tapered posts.
