The Martin Dreadnought Junior DJR10E-02L is a smaller-sized, reasonably-priced, left-handed electro acoustic guitar. This fantastic example of Martin craftsmanship is made with a Sitka Spruce top, and Cherry-Stained Sapele back and sides, and produces that big Dreadnought sound, despite it's more manageable body.

High Quality Construction

Martin's newly-designed DJR boasts a thinner, easier to hold 000 body depth, with softer back edges for extra comfort.

Due to the combination of a Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides, the natural voice of this guitar is bright and clear, with rich harmonic overtones. This, combined with the High Performance Tape neck results in a guitar that's suitable for pretty much any playstyle or genre.

In addition to that, the guitar benefits from a scalled x-style Spruce bracing, which offers increased stability, as well as an enhanced level of resonance and projection.

High Performance Taper Neck

Attached to the body is a hand rubbed neck which features a High Performance Taper. The fretboard gradually widens with a 1.75” width at the nut and 2.125” width at the 12th fret. This makes for easy chording around the lower frets and extra playability as you move up the neck.

FSC Certified Richlite has been used for the fretboard. This environmentally fretboard is great to play on and isn't affected by adverse temperature and humidity conditions as much as more traditional fretboard woods.

Adding to its incredible playability, the Martin DJR-10E has been treated to a Plek fret dressing which gives you a fretboard that plays incredibly well.

Fishman Preamp And Pickup

For the DJR10E-02L Martin have opted to also include a Fishman Sonitone electronics system. This system combines a high quality undersaddle pickup, with a discreet, soundhole-mounted preamp allows you to shape your tone.

These pickups accurately capture every nuance of your playing, ensuring that no part is missed when you perform.

The Preamp comes equipped with Tone and Volume controls too, allowing you to adjust your sound as you prefer.

Furthermore, having the battery compartment here and the preamp in the soundhole means there are less holes in the Martin DJR-10E's body so you get better sound.

Premium-Grade Hardware

With an FSC certified Richlite bridge, compensated TUSQ saddle, and enclosed gear tuning machines, you not only get enhanced string vibration transfer, you also get increased levels of intonation and tuning stability.
