Top Notch Construction

With it's Solid Sitka spruce top and layered Mahogany back and sides, the Fender Malibu Player is a responsive and dynamic guitar that's suitable for all playing styles.

Fitted to the body is a slim-taper "C"-profiled Mahogany neck. This neck featuers a satin finish, and offers a smooth, slinky playing feel, as well as easy access across the whole fretboard.

In addition to this, the body comes equipped a creme binding, which not only secures the structure of the guitar, but also contrasts nicely with the Midnight finish to add a touch of extra class.

Unique New Shape

Brand new for the California Series, the Fender Malibu is a unique, smaller-bodied design that's fun to play, whatever your size.

Not only is the body of the Malibu smaller than other California Series acoustics, but the neck scale length is shorter than usual too - just 24.1", as opposed to the 25.6" scale of the Newporter.

This shorter scale length results in less string tension, which reduces hand fatigue when playing, allows you to play for longer.

Plug And Play

A Fishman designed preamp system has been installed and allows you to plug into an amp to play live and loud. Volume, treble and bass can all be adjusted individually so you can easily dial-in the perfect tone while a built-in tuner allows you to tune your strings at all times without having to take along a separate tuner.

At the headstock, you'll find sealed nickel tuning machines allowing for quick and easy tuning of your strings while a Graph Tech NuBone nut and matching compensated saddle enhances sustain.

Down on the body, there's a modern Viking style bridge providing excellent transfer of vibration from your strings to the resonating solid Spruce top while a 3-ply gold pickguard adds a little extra flair.
