The Epiphone Slash AFD Les Paul Performance Pack includes a custom Les paul Special II in Slash's trademark Amber colour scheme, and comes with everything you need to get started with learning to play guitar; Epiphone Slash's Snakepit signature amp and a number of other Slash-flavoured accessories including a special edition, premium gig bag with Slash’s Snakepit logo and custom Slash signature picks.

Designed with Help from Slash Himself

Quality Construction

Designed with the help of Slash (of Slash’s Snakepit and Guns N’ Roses fame… as if I have to tell you that), the Slash AFD Les Paul Special-II has an Appetite Amber finish, featuring a AAA flame Maple Veneer top with single layer Ivory binding with the back, sides and neck finished in a lovely, dark Cherry; all inspired by Slash’s own custom Les Paul guitar and, like with all classic Les Pauls, the body and bolt-on neck are both made from Mahogany wood.

The Epiphone AFD Les Paul Special-II Rosewood fingerboard has dot acrylic inlays and a headstock that features Slash’s Snakepit logo in a gold silk print. The headstock also features die-cast machine heads with a 14:1 ratio for quick, easy and accurate tuning.

Premium Hardware and Electronics

The Slash “AFD” Les Paul Special-II features Epiphone’s premium, all-metal, heavy duty hardware with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stopbar tailpace and strap buttons giving the Slash AFD Les Paul a solid and classy, hard rock look.

Derived from the classic Les Paul Standards popular in the late 1950s, the powerful roar of the Slash AFD Les Paul Special-II is generated by the eye-catching, black and white Ceramic Plus Zebra Coil humbucker pickups.

To complete the look, the Slash “AFD” Les Paul Special-II features Volume, Tone and Toggle controls all with Gold TopHat knobs and metal inserts.

Integrated with the bridge pickup mounting ring, the AFD Les Paul Special-II comes with a built-in Shadow E-Tuner so you can easily stay in tune without a separate tuner and keep an eye on your tuning situation even during adverse lighting – playing in the dark, or a dimly lit stage during a gig.
