- Cab Resonance Calibration: The innovative Cab Resonance feature calibrates the amplifier's output voice to match the unique characteristics of your speaker cabinet, enhancing feel, response, and overall sound quality.
- Advanced Tone Controls: Shape your core bass sound with a wide-ranging four-band EQ, including low-mid and high-mid controls with three adjustable frequency settings. Additional controls such as compressor, drive, shape switch, bottom knob, and hi-cut button allow for precise tone sculpting.
- One-Touch Cabinet Calibration: With the Cab Resonance feature, you can calibrate the amp's reactive output stage circuitry to match the unique properties of your connected speaker cabinet, resulting in superior feel, response, and sound quality.
- Amp Feel Options: Choose between two selectable Amp Feel options, Modern and Vintage, to enhance the core sound for different playing styles. Modern provides extended frequency range and dynamic sensitivity, while Vintage offers warmth and character reminiscent of classic amps.
- Expanded Connectivity: The Katana-500 Bass Head features two high-current speaker outputs, an XLR line output with mic'd speaker emulation presets, a headphones/recording jack, and USB connectivity for computer music software.
- BOSS Tone Studio Compatibility: Use BOSS Tone Studio for Windows/macOS to edit amp parameters, access over 60 BOSS effects, and swap alternate types for the compressor, drive, and FX sections.
- Remote Operation: Connect a GA-FC or GA-FC EX foot controller for remote operation of various amp functions, including user memory presets. Optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor allows wireless tone shaping from iOS or Android devices.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
*Please note, we cannot accept returns of:
- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.
