Fantastic Clean Tones

The Blackstar HT-1R MkII has two distinct channels. Both of which feature two footswitchable voices for you to choose between.

On the Clean channel, you can choose between “American” and “British” inspired voices.

The American style voice is clean, bright and refined with solid bass response.

Switch over to the British style voice and you get a highly responsive chime with looser bottom end. Drive the British voice hard and you’ll enjoy some crispy mid-range overdrive.

Awesome Overdrive

The Overdrive channel gives you two voices that are high in gain but without the weak, top-end fizz you get from some other amps.

Voice 1 gives you Classic British Blackstar overdrive that’s rich and natural. Play it clean or push it for some Super Crunch.

Flick over to Voice 2 for a High Gain overdrive derived from that found on the popular HT Venue MkII and enjoy some high-end aggression and tight, resonant low-end.

Great New Features

In addition to the footswitchable voices, the Blackstar HT-1R MkII has some other great new features.

This includes a USB audio out which is perfect for recording as you can go straight into the computer to capture your sound.

There’s also a newly voiced studio quality reverb built-in for some beautifully creamy tones.

Of course, the new amp has a great new look with some eye-catching boutique styling. With its newly designed cabinet with 3 degree angle, top-loader panel and stage-friendly chickenhead knobs, the whole amp is nicely refined.
