Augustine Classic sets most closely resemble the original nylon guitar string devised by Albert Augustine in 1947 and trusted by the greatest legends of the classical guitar.
Augustine makes three different sets of strings for classical guitars - The most well-known movements (black, red, blue) have identical treble strings in normal tension, but differ in the different tensions of the wound bass strings (black-light / normal, red-medium, blue-high) ...... gold-wound bass strings with gold-coloured brass ....... imperial-precision round treble strings in high tension ........ Regal precision round treble strings in extra high tension.
