Ashdown MF-484H Mofo 30 Watt Amp Head Key Features
30 Watts of Tube Power: The MF-484H delivers 30 watts of power through its all-tube design. It features 1 ECC81, 1 ECC82, and 2 ECC83 tubes in the preamp section, and a quartet of EL84 tubes in the power section.
Sparkling Clean Tones: The amp head provides sparkling clean tones with plenty of headroom for a pristine sound. It's ideal for a wide range of musical styles.
Switchable Boost: The MF-484H includes a switchable boost feature, allowing you to add more gain and saturation for rock-inspired riffs.
Two Notes Torpedo Technology: One of the standout features is the built-in Two Notes Torpedo technology, offering emulations of 6 classic mic'd guitar cabinets. This technology enables you to connect directly to a PA system, use a full-range on-stage cabinet, or integrate seamlessly with your DAW or recording console.
Versatile Tone Controls: The front panel features intuitive controls, including Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence, giving you complete command over your tone. Whether you prefer a clean, chiming sound or rich saturation, this amp can deliver it.
USB and Bluetooth Connectivity: You can edit and update the on-board cabinet emulations using the USB input or Bluetooth via the dedicated app available from the iOS App Store and Google Play. This feature allows for convenient tweaking of mic selection and placement.
Multiple Inputs: The amp offers two instrument inputs - the UK input for a classic British tone with a compressed and tight feel, and the US input for more headroom and a cleaner tone.
Versatile Outputs: The MF-484H provides options for 4 or 8 ohm speakers. It also includes a direct balanced Torpedo IR output for studio interfaces or front-of-house systems, a headphone output, and a Torpedo line input for re-amping recordings.
Software Compatibility: The amp is compatible with the Two Notes Torpedo range, including the Captor X, Wall of Sound, and the C.A.B. M+. It also works seamlessly with the Torpedo Remote app, available for both iOS and Android.
