With a careful selection of modern features, Ampeg have developed the awesome V-4B, which recreates the tonal characteristics of those original early 1970s bass amplifiers, but in a portable design that's perfect for modern players.
Amongst these modern upgrades you will find an integrated DI socket, multiple speaker outs, Balanced Line Out, Preamp Out/Power Amp In, and much more.

With it's all-valve, vintage-style voice, 3-band tone-stack, and Mid-Frequency "rocker" switch, this amplifier is suitable for pretty much any musical style, from vintage to modern and evnerything in between.
In addition to this, the modern construction of the V4-B has resulted in an amplifier head that gives you all of the pure Ampeg tone we know and love, but at half the weight of a classic SVT head.
