It features a cutaway in the body which grants easy access to the Pau Ferro fretboard's higher frets which is great for easy solos and adventurous performance.
Solid AAA figured Acacia is used for the Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB's top which gives you a beautifully woody and open tone that fits somewhere between Mahogany and Rosewood.
Furthermore, its unique and highly figured grain gives this guitar incredible visual presence. Plus, as a solid top it provides you with superior tone that will only get better with age.
Alvarez's acclaimed MST1 bracing system is also in use on the Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB. This system features middle shifted x-style bracing and asymmetric tone bars and gives you improved response, increased resonance and powerful low end.
Attached to the body is a Mahogany neck with a 50/50 semi-gloss finish providing smooth and comfortable playability.
Increasing your playing comfort is a slim, bevelled armrest carved into the Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB electro-acoustic guitar's body.
LR Baggs Electronics
The Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB has been fitted with LR Baggs electronics so you can enjoy great sound unplugged or plugged in.
In the side of the AGAS99CEARSHB is the LR Baggs StagePro EQ preamp providing you with all the controls needed to shape your tone to perfection.
In the body of the Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB is an LR Baggs Element pickup. While other acoustic pickups tend to just capture the string vibration, the Element pickup captures the soundboard's movements too.
So, instead of sounding lifeless and limp, your amplified guitar tone will be vibrant and rich.
High Quality Hardware
On the body of the Alvarez AGA99CEARSHB, you'll find a bi-level Pau Ferro bridge providing great transfer of vibration from your strings to the resonating Acacia top.
The bi-level design of the bridge provides improved string break angle over the saddle, resulting in improved tone and increased volume.
The nut and saddle are both made from genuine bone, further improving tone while increasing sustain.
Premium chrome die cast tuning machines can be found on the headstock providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
