A cutaway to the body of the Alvarez AD6012CESHB provides unencumbered access to the higher frets which is great for solos and other high flying performances.
Spruce is probably the most popular tonewood for acoustic guitars and so Alvarez have fitted the AD6012CESHB with a solid A+ Sitka Spruce top.

The Mahogany neck of the Alvarez AD6012CESHB has a 50/50 semi-gloss finish for smooth and comfortable playing.
Within the 12-string guitar's body, you'll find a forward shifted x-style bracing design which allows the top to resonate more freely for improved dynamic response and increased volume.
The braces and asymmetric have been scalloped too, further increasing the potential resonance of the solid A+ Sitka Spruce top, and so giving you even more beautiful tone.
Attached to the body of the Alvarez AD6012CESHB 12-string guitar is a Mahogany neck that features a 50/50 semi-gloss finish for quick and comfortable playability.
Fitted to the body of the AD6012CESHB is a Pau Ferro bridge providing great transfer of string energy to the solid Sitka Spruce top.
Furthermore, thanks to its bi-level design it gives you an improved string break angle over the saddle, improving tone and increasing volume.
The saddle and nut are both made from real bone, providing enhanced sustain while adding a beautifully natural brightness to your tone.
