Two Channels with Individual Tone Shaping
On the front panel of the AER Compact 60, you’ll notice there are two separate channels.
Channel 1 takes has a jack input so it’s perfect for connecting your instrument such as electro-acoustic guitar.
Over on Channel 2, you’ll find an XLR/jack combo input so you can connect either a microphone or a second instrument. A mic/line switch is on hand allowing you to set the channel up accordingly.
Each channel has dedicated EQ controls so you can get the sound just right too.
Convenient Features
On the rear, you’ll find an option for activating 9v phantom power for Channel 1, so you can power your instrument’s preamp without a battery.
Similarly, you can activate 48v phantom power on Channel 2 for powering condenser microphones.
The AER Compact 60 4 also has some high-quality effects built in so you can really add some extra depth to your sound.
The digital effects processor gives you two different reverbs, delay and chorus - acoustic performance must-haves.
Send and Return connections allow you to add in external effects and there’s a DI-out with a balanced XLR output which is switchable to be with or without effects.
You can connect a footswitch for dual switching, toggling on/off either internal or external effects.
If you want to practise in private then you there’s a headphone output which switches off the speaker when in use.
There’s also a 3.5mm jack auxiliary input allowing you to add in line level sources such as a CD player or mobile device.
